Hagan, Rinehart & Connolly Pediatricians partners with families and community to build relationships that nurture children's physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
We are your comprehensive medical home for coordinated, compassionate, culturally effective, continuous, family-centered care.
We have a strong commitment to advancing the field of pediatrics through teaching. We are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine and the Vermont Children’s Hospital. We ask our families to act as faculty as we train pediatrics residents and medical students.
We are each engaged in work to improve care in our local and national community. Dr. Hagan is the co-editor of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ text, Bright Futures: Guidelines for Health Supervision of Infants, Children, and Adolescents. This publication uses evidence and expert consensus to establish the guidelines for the practice of general pediatrics, and has been chosen by congress as the national standard of care. Dr. Rinehart is a national leader in the Medical Home movement, which is redefining the role of pediatric practices as the home base for each patient’s comprehensive care. Dr. Connolly serves as co-chairperson of the Vermont Children’s Hospital Newborn Nursery Quality Assurance Committee, seeking to continually improve the care provided to our newborns.
We appreciate your interest in our practice, and we are grateful to the families who already call us their children’s medical home. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, or to be introduced to our medical home.
